my fiancee is traveling to see her family for the holidays starting tomorrow and I couldn't get time off work, so we did christmas tonight....

she got:

Sex And The City:  The Complete Series

i got:

The Dark Knight:  Two-Disc Special Edition (Blu-Ray)
The Godfather:  The Coppola Retoration (Blu-Ray)
It's A Wonderful Life:  2-Disc Collector's Set
The Sound Of Music:  40th Anniversary Edition

Wow. I also got my fiance the Sex and the City complete series.  Awesome!

Sad thing is, I actually want to see it.  I love HBO shows, and I thought the SATC movie was pretty good....

A month ago my sister said she wanted Wall E for Christmas. So I ordered it from Amazon a week ago. The same day I got my order in the post, she also got a package from Amazon. She had bought herself Wall E. Sad Luckily we can send one back for a refund, excluding the cost of returning it. At least she doesn't know about the other present I got for her. It's a little Wall E figure, about 2.5" high. It was cheap so I thought it would make a nice stocking filler.

I think I'm getting The Dark Knight from her.

Other than those, I can't think of any half decent films, let alone DVDs. The local Blockbuster has a huge choice of preowned DVDs but I can't find any I'm remotely interested in watching.
