Stay far away from this movie.  It sucks a lot.

There is absolutely no revenge involved in the entire movie, and I think (and moreso hope) that this movie is actually intended for children. There are about fifteen monsters in it, including Godzilla's son.  He TALKS to this little kid throughout the movie.  He looks more like Thomas the Tank Engine than Godzilla's son, and he's incredibly annoying.  There's really no story.  Some kid has a monster fetish and he keeps dreaming about going to Monster Island, where all the monsters live.  There he talks to Godzilla's son, and they watch Godzilla beat up the other monsters.  60's/70's Godzilla isn't as cool as the current one to boot, but not even one building gets crushed in this.  Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I disagree with the point about Godzilla not being as cool as the new one (everything else he said was true). The 70's Godzilla does have some advantages over the new Godzilla (I.E. Godzilla 2000, not the one from the Mathew Brodrick movie). 70's Godzilla has so much more personality than the new Godzilla. He makes more noise and he tends to have a lot more fun in general doing cool things like crushing puny human structures. New Godzilla looks a lot cooler but he just doesn't have the personality.

So this is worse than the Godzilla cartoon series of the 70's with the little monster named Godzooky? That's the one where the scientist family had this signaling device that would conjure up Godzilla from the water, instantly, no matter where they were in the world.

I remember the other words to the song, too:

Up from the depths
30 stories high
Breathing fire
it's Pan in disguise (not sure about this line)

Godzooky is like the equivalent of scrappy-doo, and they are both annoying pussies.  Hey, I'm just saying what's on everybodies minds or mind, or somethin...
