once seller receives your payment what do you think is a reasonable amount of time to get your item..if its coming from out of the us i know it can take weeks or months to arrive but inside the us shippping how long do you consider to long.

From what I have mailed items ive sent from the east coast to west coast seem to arrive in 2 to 3 days.with priority shipping

Ive bought and sold so much stuff I know about how long it shold take to get items from certian places in the us.

Thing that drives me crazy is I won a auction 2 weeks ago and the seller said the package would be shipped out last week... so when it didnt arrive yesterday i called fed ex and they said they had no record of a shipment..i called back the seller and they said they would check and get back with me...they sent me a tracking number and when i looked it up I saw where they just took the package to fed ex today..I understand that they may have forgot or  didnt have time to mail out the package but to play it off and act like they mailed it out last week upsets me..at least the tracking number is showing that it is actually at fed ex  so its at least on the way.

i hate when that happens.....when someone buys something from me, it usually goes out that day, or at the very latest within the next 48 hours, with more than 24 hours pushing it....

but, it seems like when i buy stuff people take their damn time, even if i pay for priority (there is obviously a reason i paid the extra for priority)

but, i will say that the one person that ships stuff out super quick and even with media mail it seems to get here in 2 days is tynstar....AZ to PA in 2 days with media mail....he is a great person to buy stuff from.....

I've bought items that were supposed to be shipped via priority and when it arrived it was media mail. Depends on the seller and maybe they forgot about your order. I'm glad that it's finally on it's way Doug.

Weirdest thing is, all the Japanese eBay sellers I've bought from, games arrive within a week or two, tops, shipped with basic Air Mail.  Guess they're just more efficient Tongue

Meanwhile, US deals, well, I had an overnight shipment take a week to arrive once...damn customs held it, opened it, and dinged me for it...$5 for the "privalege" of having them open the package, and another $2 for duties...on a game I paid $10 for...damn guy put the wrong customs slip or something, I dunno, but it was declared at $35!!!  Let that be a lesson people - when dealing with Canadians, declare the package as a GIFT under $10...I think the upper limit is $20, but play it safe and go $10 Tongue

Shipping overseas has been a nightmare for me I sent a tennis racket to a guy in Spain and it took 3 months  then I sent a set of ssp cars to a guy in Austrilia I told him before I sent them the last item I mailed out of the states took 3 months  well his package took 4 months to get to him so I stay away from overseas shipping

This being Kentucky, when I lived near Cincy, it took a week to mail a letter from my house to my parents' house, which was about 5 hours away on the other side of the state...not to make excuses for slow shipping sellers, it just seems Kentucky mail takes FOREVER!!
