Anyone know of any good DVD Collector's forums (especially one with software similar to RFs collection software.  I find that recently I have been more into DVDs than into Video Games and would love to see what types of collectors are out there.

What's wrong with me? - Hmmm, I really don't know...... I just don't really wanna put forth the effort of holding a control and using my brain unlike movies that I can just lay back and relax.....I didn't buy anything game related the entire month of August.

How many DVDs do I have? - Well, I don't have an exact count right now, somewhere in the ~250 range.  I would really like to start collecting Criterion movies, it's just that they are expensive.  Once I graduate from Grad school in 2 years and get an actually job then I will be able to blow money on DVDs.

I think once I have the money (aka a job) I will start buying video games a lot more, but its hard to buy games at $40 a pop preowned when I can get 3 movies for $10 preowned at Gamestop.

You only need 3 video games (in order).  Counterstrike, Xenogears, Tetris.  Thats it.  Forever.

I have about 250 DVD's as well with 11 or 13 Criterion movies. They are expensive. 30+ a pop for a DVD is crazy. Won't even talk about the OOP ones.

Like Salo (which I really want to see, not just bc of the price either) which typically runs $350 to $400 on eBay (because only 2000 copies were released before Criterion lost the rights to the movie.)  If you see a copy of Salo going for $29.99 BIN then it is not the Nimbus white ring version (there is a white ring around the inner dvd circle, without this, the DVD is not legit, not one of the original 2000 and is more or less worthless.

You could try DVD Aficionado:

http://www.dvdaficionado.com/index.html

Right now, I've got about 260 DVDs and this is a pretty good site to keep track of your collection, plus it has a nice forum too.
