It's about time we've had an Atari game featured.  And thus, I declare these next two weeks as "Atari Days"!  Here we have Warlords; a classic game in which you need to defend your castle from the opposing army's forces.  Many of you remember playing this game with friends all day long after school.  Some of you have never even heard of this game.  Do you know what I call that?  I call it an excuse to get the Atari out and play til you can't any longer!

Let us know what you think about Warlords.  Discuss your thoughts here!

I spent many hours playing this game back in the day. Hell I still play this game. It is a great 4 player game. I use to play against my brothers and a few months ago my brother and I renewed our Warlords battles.

Warlords and Circus are my two favorite Atari 2600 games.

Hooray for Atari Week! Atari 2600 is my favorite system by far and Warlords is just awesome! I love playing 4 player games and at the time this was a rarity. Now days there are 4 player games galore. Warlords is very addictive and if you get a chance to play the 5200 version/clone "Castle Crisis", go for it.

Have you played Pitfall II today?

I've only played this on my Atari Anniversary Collection disc for the DC.  It's a lot of fun.

I have also only played it on compilations.

I LOVE the game though.
It is oddly addictive and somewhat strange.

One of my favorite memories with this game (any versio nof it) was playing it at CGE back in either 2002 or 2003.  The first year DP was setting up with the couches.  We had a four-player game going, and for a while I didn't do too badly, but then I started to get knocked down like 5-0, and started talking like "dude, next year, I'm going to be practicing and you all are SO dead!"  It was a blast playing a game like that, from that generation, with other people who could appreciate it and have fun together.

Love Warlords, hell I play it on single-player and I have a blast! Smiley  laugh

I always like warlords, but it was never on my top 10 list of Atari games to play, I like Combat better.
