if you chose 'the one i forgot' then make sure to mention it in the forum. i tried to include the recent and most of the older modern systems.

You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

I am a big retro gaming junky so I went with the NES controller. If I were to choose 1 of the newer consoles it would be the game cube wave bird.

I picked the N64. The layout is perfect.

PS2 really does have the most comfortable controller.  To me it seems there was very little learning curve when people started playing it.  The only problem I had with it is A,B,X,Y is way easier to say and learn then a bunch of shapes.

I don't enjoy PS controllers at all! The PS controller was the reason I bought a N64 and I'm very glad with my choice.

I picked the NES controller, maybe it's because my hands were still growing and forming when I first picked it up (and rarely put it back down) but it's always been so comfortable in my hands.

i went for the SNES controller, it was the 1st with 4 buttons and shoulders and i could remember the layout in a fast game, I like the PSX type (both normal and dual shock) but in something like Paraper i cant remember where the symbols are even though i know where they are if you know what i mean!

I like the Gamecube pad lots too but tis the same situation cant remember X from Y and the Z is too small.

I'll go with the PS1/PS2 Dual Shock. That one feels the most comfortable in my hands. The Xbox Controller S is nice too but I don't care for it for racing games.

I chose the Dreamcast controller...just fit nicely in your hands.  The SNES controller was a tempting rival, though Wink

I went SNES. After using the Megadrive joypad for a few years before hand the SNES controller just felt so more natural. Excellent button placements and also revolutionized the way joypads are now with the use of the shoulder buttons.

This is the exact reason I didn't get a Play Station.

I voted for the PlayStation controller... then after I submitted it, I remembered the Dogbone controller for the NES-101. Now that was a controller back in the day.
