Just got this email from Weirdal.com. I am a big "Weird Al" fan and can't wait for this album to come out. I am definitely pre-ordering this bad boy!

Quote
Dear Close, Personal Friend Of Al...

In case you haven't heard the good news... the wait is almost over.

The new "Weird Al" Yankovic album, Straight Outta Lynwood, will be in stores on September 26!

Straight Outta Lynwood features 12 of Weird Al's latest and greatest songs, including parodies of hits by Chamillionaire, Green Day, Usher, R. Kelly and Taylor Hicks!

It's also a DualDisc release, with the DVD side containing Enhanced Stereo, 5.1 Surround and instrumental mixes of the entire album (with an on-screen lyrics option)!

And as if that weren't enough... it also includes also a mini-documentary on the making of the album... plus 6 BRAND NEW MUSIC VIDEOS!

I know. He does age well. I'm looking for a track list, because I'm curious what some of the songs are titled. I am pre-ordering this sometime this evening.

sweeeet! I've been a fan of Weird Al since the beginning. when I went to Germany my sophmore year of high school we listened to his latest album "In 3-D" on the tour bus every day. I can still sing along to every track on that record. I've seen him live 3 times as well. definately looking forward to this one.

That's something I've never had the chance to do. I'm sure you'll like to hear his first song off the album, he is letting his fans download it for free, in hopes to get more people into his style of music. here is the link.

I already pre-ordered this album & The Weird Al Show.

His first video hits Yahoo! Music at 10PM Pacific time tonight! It will be "Don't Download This Song". If you haven't already downloaded his new single, go ahead and check it out. It's available for free On The Official "Weird Al" site at http://www.Weirdal.com or http://www.myspace.com/weirdal

2 new songs from the album have leaked onto the net. The first one is White And Nerdy, a parody of Ridin' Dirty by Chamillionaire. The other is Canadian Idiot, a parody of American Idiot by Green Day. Both songs are hilarious, and some of his best work yet. I can't wait for the 26th.

I bet they are. I preordered this puppy a few weeks ago and unfortunately I will not be here when it is delivered. =( so hopefully my wife can rip it and email it to me.

I got this from Weirdal.com about a new video.

Not sure. Does Robot Chicken completely suck? I've yet to see it, but will have the wife DVR it on the 24th.
