IFC has decided to do a documentary about the MPAA and how movies are rated That looks insanely awesome.  Who else is going to see it?  I'm going to see it opening day.

You can watch the trailer here.

Last I checked they rated it as an NC-17 but the director is going through appeals to get it down to an R.

i wonder what content made the MPAA give it an NC-17, besides the content of the film bashing them??

I think the official explanation was they had a segment that gives examples of what would get a movie an NC-17 rating.  But since it's a documentary I think it should be thought about in a different way than other movies.
