I was born in 1972 in NYC Bellevue Hospital (what was called The Nut House at that time) ANYWAY my first helf of my video game life my famley mostly my mother got me alot of the old gaming system when they first came out, my mother Rina came to the US in 1960 from Puerto Rico and lived in Manhattan but my father Mario (Thats right MARIO) was left to stay in Dominican Republic.

Anyway if some are you are wonderingwhen I got some of these units here's a short BIO of my time life in video gaming:

1972: Born in NYC, Atari was open for the first time with Pong.
1976: Mom gave me Atari Super Pong.
1977: Got the Atari Video Computer System for my B-day from Mom.
1979: Uncle gave me all the Odyssey units he had from first to Odyssy 2.
1980: One of my mom's friend got me the Intellivision and 4 games.
1982: The first 2600 game I got was Barzerk. My aunt got me the 5200.
1983: The last two console mom got me was the Colecovision & Vectrex.
1984: Got alot of used pong units from the flea market in Brooklyn.
1985: The first console I got by my self was the Nintendo NES with Rob.
1986: Found Famicom with 20 games in China town.
1987: Got Master System, Atari 7800 & XE. Also found more old consoles.
1989: Sega Genesis, Gameboy, Lynx, Plus got lots of 2600 games for .99
1990: Game Gear, dad and uncle got me the Neo-Geo and two game.
1991: Super NES, found more old units Arcadia 2001/Telstar/Channel F.
1992: CD-I , more old games like 2600/5200/7800 carts 4 for a dollar.
1993: 3DO, Jag, and got more imports in downtown like Super Famicom.
1995: Saturn, VirtalBoy, PS1, plus found lots of used carts & units.
1996: Got both Japanese and US N64.
1997: Metal Gear Solid is my all time fav PS1 game EVER!
1998: Got the Japanese Dreamcast.
1999: Got the US Dreamcast on 9.9.99
2000: Y2K came and left, still alive, plus got the PS2 both Japanese & US.
2001: Got the Gamecube both Japanese and US units. And the Xbox.
2002: I got my own plase to live in Brooklyn. Good for me now!
2004: Last game unit I got sofar is the GBA SP (NES Classic)
2005: The PS2 (smaller unit), PSP and DS.
2006: Soon Ill have Xbox360 and PS3 after I first get the Wii.

That's an awesome collection you got, about ten times the size of my collection. But that's OK I have only been collecting games for about six months now.

Thanks and same here even with my collection I know three guys that has like 20% more then what I have cuase they have real jobs:D But like many Ill never stop collecting in fact Im starting getting old Japanese games from Famicom to Mark 3.

That is one hell of a collection you've got there.

Are you more of a hardware collector or just have one massive collection?

I don't envy your task of adding all of your games in the collection tools Shocked

Very nice collection you got there, and a great history to go along with it!  Given that history, I would say you define the word collector Wink  There's always discussions going on at various forums regarding what defines a true collector, and I would say someone who's been going at it for 20-30 years is definitely a true collector Wink

you dont have all of your collection loaded up yet, do you.  i can tell by just looking at you 2600 games and NEs stuffs.

Yea most are boxed away and Im trying to check on them one at a time once I have time to list them and yea thers a lot of NES and others to go:P

how many rooms of games do you have? how many tv's do you have?  do you have any estimation of the total games (i was looking at the pictures and thought my god this guy probly has more then den!)
