I was enjoying Metroid Fusion until I met the damn Giant Enemy Spider. It's a couple of minutes away from a save point and it always kills me before I manage to do anything to it. So I have to redo the last two minutes just to get to this spider which then kills me before I can do anything.

Bought and tested out Lost Planet and Viva Pinata yesterday. Both worked.

Also played the bonus disk I got for my reservation of Mass Effect. Holy crap! The additional footage showed some areas previously unseen, and the graphics are just amazing!

Also played the GH3 demo from XBL last night. Played 3 of the 5 songs on Hard. Failed Even Flow the 1st attempt but passed in on the 2nd try. Passed Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Rock You Like a Hurricane 1st try. I'm definitely rusty, though.

Kool Thing will be the best song in GH3. Just saying.

Almost forgot. I also played the XBLA demo for Exit. A pretty cool-looking original arcade title. The object is to reach the exit before time expires.  The challenge to do so gets progressively more difficult, but the gameplay is smooth and the art style is really cool! Cool

Gun and Prey.

I got the last two achievements I needed in Gun and I beat Prey on normal.

@ Scott
From what i heard Gun was only moderately better looking vs. the Xbox version and Prey was one of those games that was good if you hadn't played anything similair in the genre on the 360.

True or false?

Replayed the GH3 demo again. And went back to GH2 to pass a couple more songs on Expert. 16 to go!

I started playing the Crysis demo. It seems pretty good so far. There seem to be a lot of people complaining about the graphics/performance not being as good as they were expecting but I think it looks great on my mid-range PC at 1440x900. It is a little choppy but its barely noticeable. I haven't bought into the hype because I was expecting to not be able to play it at all but I thought I would download the demo anyway to see how it runs. It's a 1.77GB demo, so it took ages to download. I had connection problems so I had to try downloading it 5 times before it actually finished.

I haven't played Gun on the Xbox but I really liked the 360 version. I thought it look good. Cool to play an old west themed game.

Prey is like no other FPS I have ever played. It was fun and  had some good puzzles in it. It looked real pretty and had a good story.

I beat GH3 on hard last night.  Raining Blood is damn hard.  It took me 6 or 7 tries to beat it.  Trying to beat it on expert is going to be damn near impossible.
