I have been going thru the same phases as you.

I decided to start playing some quick games or things i could pick up put down and not worry about losing any skill in the game.

Black - Beat it(running thru the difficulties i didn't win on.)
Bible Game - "Beat it"(I think i have 2 more mini games i need high scores for...)
Demon Stone - on the 3rd stage. I like that the party shares EXP and gold.

Demon Stone is the one i most recently started.

I got Forza 2 to download fully. At first it seemed to have an arcade style to it. It looked like it was trying to be photorealistic but not quite getting away from the computerised look. My eyes got used to it after a couple of laps and I started noticing little details.

It seems a good game so far, definitely one to look out for eventually.

Viva Pinata is downloading now.

I played the Viva Pinata demo for 3 hours straight. There's no save feature on the demo. I was getting ready to do something else because the garden was getting full and my eyes were hurting, but right at that moment I levelled up again and the demo ended. I've not been so engrosed in a game for a long time.

I thought it was great fun. I won't be buying it though because I'm trying to sort out where my money is going. Same with Forza 2 - I want it but won't get it for a while.

VP is definitely a fun game. It recently dropped to $29.99 here in the states. But since I'm a cheapass, I'm going to wait for it to drop to $19.99 before picking it up.

Played more of the Halo 3 Beta last night. Getting my ass kicked on Snowbound! I did finish 2nd in a Krazy King of the Hill game, though.

$30! The cheapest I can find it here is £25, and most reputable places are over £30. The "Limited Edition" one is still selling at ~£40.

Forza being new will be £40 everywhere for a while after it comes out. I haven't spent more than £30 on any 360 game yet, and I don't see that changing. I barely even want to spend £25.

Actually, PCWorld was selling King Kong for 97p this week. Of course, word spread and people bought all the stock just to sell on ebay.

Was it really worth 30+ $s though?
Not IMO.
I think the 10$s used is more fair.

Just beat stage 5 of demon stone

Played some Half-Life 2 on the xbox. This is the first time playing it on my xbox, I did play through most of it on my PC months ago, but did finish it. Good times.

I decided to go for the full Viva Pinata. Rather annoyingly the only garden/level I could start on was the exact same as the demo, so I had to go through all the tips popping up telling me how to dig a hole again.

Good game and I'm sure it gets better as I unlock more stuff.

Edit: I'm up to about level 15 and Ivor the beggar came along. I thought I'd talk to him to see what he was doing but he started walking on the spot because a gate was open in front of him. I found out I couldn't cancel it and couldn't do anything other than press the dashboard button. Luckily it had saved about 30 seconds before so I stopped the game. Time for a break anyway.
