Mixed it up last night. Tried out Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction on the XBox 1. The game froze once early on. But after getting to the same point after a reboot it worked fine. Fun game.

Played some of the Alien Hominid HD XBLA demo on the 360. Tough-ass game! And later went on Pogo for some Pop Fu.

I've played some more Test Drive Unlimited on the 360. Now that I've got the hang of it, it's actually quite a fun game. I've done about 430 miles and have five or six cars. I've unlocked a custom paint shop but I had to rush out before I could use it. I want to know when I'll unlock the tuning stores.

More Test Drive Unlimited. I've been playing all day, so my trigger finger is aching and my eyes are numb. I've done two of the round-the-island races. The first one I beat easily in about 47 minutes. The second one was about 128 miles in under an hour, or 62 minutes for second place. On my first go I did it in 1hr 0m 11s. Angry I tried again and beat it by about 30 seconds.

Played Def Jam: FFNY (Xbox1), tried out the demo for Castlevania:SotN from XBLA (a really good game, imo), and then some Crackdown (addictive as crack) on the 360.

PSU, I hit the current level cap of level 80.
Now I need to get all of my techs (spells) to level 30, or maybe work on my alternate characters.

Brutal: Paws of Fury on the Mega CD.

Crap. Just crap. I started my first fight in it expecting some kind of learning curve. The opponent did a special move on me, kicked me to the side of the screen then did the special move over and over again with me unable to do anything. Ok, so that might have been a fluke. I started the second fight and they did the same thing!

It looks good, though.

Geist for GameCube...

ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT GAMES OF LAST GEN!

What other game lets you help your friend get past a bunch of hungry, armed soldiers by cooking soup? None. None at all.

Geist is probably the best first person shooter of last gen because it takes so many risks and adds so much to the FPS genre that no other game has even attempted.

I just played Geist for the first time a couple weeks ago. Not campaign but multiplayer. It only had 4 maps. Does beating the campaign unlock more multiplayer maps?

Yes. It does unlock more multiplayer stuff. You gotta look out for the host collectibles though.

Had the chance to catch up on a bit of backlogged games. Rogue Galaxy is easily one of the nest RPG's for the PS2. Very underrated game that didn't get the attention it should have.

Alien VS Predator for the Jaguar as well. Haven't played that game since it was still on store shelves, brings back some fond memories.  Cheesy

I got back into Call of Duty 3 on the Xbox 360 last night. Unlocked a few achievements then got a little frustrated with it. It's an ok game, though.
