Met up with den and some friends last night for offline multiplayer.

Started with Tetris Worlds (there was only 3 of us at the time), then when the rest showed up played Big Bumpin', Def Jam: Fight for NY (a very underrated game, imo), Guitar Hero II, some Motor Kombat, and Halo 2.

Def Jam turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Reminded me of a 3D version of the arcade Pitfighter. Lots of players and arenas to unlock as well. Gonna have to play some more of that in future multiplayer sessions!

Last night after eight pints of beer I got the 360 out and beat all my friends at PGR3 by at least 30 seconds on a two lap course. I did surprisingly well, with only a few bumps here and there.

Over the weekend, I got to 60 on World of Warcraft and started running some of the higher level 5 man instances (Scholomance, Lower Blackrock Spire, and Stratholme) and went to my first 20 man raid in Zul' Gurub.

I have never experienced anything as hectic and chaotic as a 20 man raid in World of Warcraft.  Being one of the primary healers, I had to keep my eye on exactly what the other 19 people in the raid were doing to keep thier health up at all times and I did it in one of the hardest raid instances that I am capable of entering.  We all died on the last boss in the instance and the group disbanded after that.  40 man raids are going to be insane.

I've also started going for some of my premium armor sets.  I have 2 parts of my teir 0 set and 1 part of my teir .5 set (the sets are teir 0, .5, 1, 2, 3, and PvP) out of 8 parts for each set.  And they say the fun ends at 60.  Smiley

I got round to installing and playing my Christmas present Black Hawk Down on the PC tonight... Bleh. I can see why it's a budget game. It's playable but it's not all that good.

If I had a better PC, or at least a bigger hard drive, I'd play more PC games. For some reason I've lost 35Gb on my 80Gb hard drive. I can see where 40Gb of data is, in the Windows folder, My Documents, and Program Files. But the other 35 odd isn't anywhere I can see, and I've set it to show hidden files.

I was looking at a 160Gb HDD for £35 anyway. Maybe it's time to go for it.

Izret I hope you enjoy Yoshi's Island DS as much as I did Smiley

As for me, I'm playing Final Fantasy XII which is hands down the most interesting RPG I have ever played simply for the battle system alone. For example, the opening scene you lead a raid with about 15 other soldiers all in real time. The battle system is a mix of an Active Battle System like Final Fantasy 2(IV) except you can move around and dodge attacks. It's definately an RPG for people who despise the genre.

Other than that I'm playing Final Fantasy III which is annoying since you can only save on the over world, and Castlevania Portrait of Ruin which while no where near as good as Dawn of Sorrow it has me plugging away tons of hours obtaining and selling the items, weapons, armor, etc.
