i too have been playing the Dead Rising demo, But dont think that much of it yeah it looks, sounds and plays well but the weapons are limited use which seams a bit stupid and as its only a demo theres not alot to do. I know the full game will be better just at the moment im a bit disappointed with it.
I wonder if the U.K. version is different than the U.S. version?
When you think about it, though. Objects used as weapons SHOULD be limited use and therefore break after a certain # of hits. I used the cash register to crack some skulls about 8 or 10 times before it was destroyed; to me, that seems like a resonable number. Then I broke into the jewelry store and used them as ranged weapons (not so good). Then I found some cooking oil in a diner; although I didn't use it, I'm guessing it can be used as an explosive.
Not a lot to do? I don't agree with that. I've played through the demo 3x now and it's been a different experience each time. Granted, the demo stops after a certain amount of time and then you get a cutscene, but being a demo, I'm okay with that.
We'll see how the full game fares.
