Started a fresh file on Need For Speed 2. I raced in 5 of the goals & made 4 gold finishes. Some reason I have trouble with the time trial.

I played Dragon Quest 8 until 1:30 am last night and ended up showing up to work 30 minutes late.  I've gotts figure out what game I'm going to play next now.  Preferably something short.  Maybe Siren.  Maybe Metal Slug 4&5.  Maybe Onimusha 2 and then 3.  We shall see.

How is Siren? I was thinking about picking it up.

I played Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion(360), Last night until 3 a.m.
A bit slow going at the start, but it looks amazing. Getting used to the controls still, but I am coming along.

I can tell this game is going to take a while to beat.

How are the combat controls compared to Morrowind? From the trailers I've seen, it looks a lot better.

Sadly, I have yet to own or play Morrowwind.
:-/

The battle controls are good. You can "hotlink" several weapons and spells (which I am still getting the hang of)

You can choose from several races/classes to become.
Changing my face took me several minutes. Its crazy, the amount of control you have and changes you can make.

I have Siren and I wasn't all to impressed with it.  I actually quit playing the game half way through because I was getting bored with it which does not happen much for me.  Instead of fighting the enemies you basically run for your life to complete it.  It was confusing, too.  Huh

Yea, the review said I think 100+ hours if you do everything.  There are so many side quests to do I guess.

I said to my friend about Oblivion:
Oblivion is The Matrix.
Think about it.
Living characters in a fake universe they don't know doesn't exist.
But they go on living their daily lives and never learn the truth.

Just remember if you reset your game you are commiting genocide.

He responded:
I already re-started oblivion twice because i kept murdering the shopkeepers. So i'm a DOUBLE-HITLER!!!

I haven't had a chance to play it yet.  I picked it up a few months ago from the CC $10 sale.  I have heard some good things about it though.  I'll probably play through it this weekend though so I'll tell you on Monday.

I was getting tired of only playing Morrowind so I broke down and picked up a copy of Halo. And I grudgingly admit it is pretty sweet. I guess it isn't Bungie's fault it got bought out. Only thing is no co-op on PC, co-op Halo was the only reason I ever thought about an X-Box (that and the Bruce Lee game)
