Last Friday (1/20) a group of us played my Far Cry: Instincts homemade maps in 4-player splitscreen on Xbox.

Aside from a few tweaks here and there, the maps all played out very well and the results were very balanced. A few new ideas for maps were also suggested and I'll try to incorporate them before the next gaming session.

BTW, this game is a BARGAIN at $29.99! Pick one up if you haven't already.

I picked up a PS2 component video cable last night, so I decided to try out the few games I owned: Champions of Norrath, Virtua Fighter 4:Evolution, and Disgaea.

The cable makes a BIG difference in picture quality! I'm definitely glad I got it.

Not yet. I am trying Ricks out. I might try Animal Crossing for the GameCube to see if it is the same. If so i would rather play it on my TV.

It is far better on the DS.

The GCN one has a better view because you can see more but the DS one is way better becausee you can connect with people and the characters are not as bland and item storage is easier and you can build your house bigger etc, etc

Never before has there been such a horrible port. I even dl'd the nude patch and it still wasn't playable.

Hey Cap, since there's a billion Street Fighter versions out there, would you recommend the Street Fighter Anniversary Edition over the Capcom Classics Collection?

I don't want to have to buy the same game 2x so I'm patiently waiting until Capcom is done making it over and over and over so I can just buy one of them and be done with it.

Capcom Collection version is great. Street Fighter 2 was my favorite version. Not only that, but Capcom Collection has a ton of other great games and is an awesome value at 19.99 new.

Street Fighter Collection has alot of the different versions of Street Fighter and is what I would reccomend for a "Street Fighter" fan.

Of course if the release Street Fighter Alpha Anthology on the Xbox, I would reserve judgement on which to buy until I played it  Wink

So in review, Capcom Collection = great version of SF2. Street Fighter Anniv. Edition = A whole lot of SF action. SF anniv. is an awesome looking game too.

Capcom Collection looks good.
