I started playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life over the weekend. It seems like it will take some time to get into it.

I finally played Death Race for the NES today. I've had that game sealed for a very long time and have always wanted to check it out, since the screenshots on the back of the box made it seem like a really cool game. I finally managed to get a second copy of the game to play it...and I must say it's pretty good, especially for an unlicensed NES game. You have to capture somewhere between 1 and 4 flags and then find the exit of the arena, all while shooting or driving over civilians, dodging enemy missiles, destroying turrets and enemy helicopters, etc. All around a good NES game

I fired up Revolution X for PS in some respects it is MUCH better than the SNES version and in others the SNES is WAY better.
It is much much harder too. I pushed it down to easy and still couldn't beat the secod level. I choose the Middle East where you have to blow up the bus.
Maybe one of the other noes will be easier.
But i blew up EVERYTHING on the bus that could be blown up.
I dunno maybe there was some smal part i missed..... 4 times in a row....

R-Type Final.
This game is unbelievable, and although it is very, very hard, it's not hard to the point of frustration (at least not yet
). I can't get very far in it (even on "baby" difficulty mode), but it's still a blast to play. The bosses start out simple enough (big robots), but as you progress, they look more and more like giant worms or blobs or something unidentifiable (and often grotesque).
Also, the ship system is much more in-depth than you would think. There are 100 different ships to choose from if you unlock them all, and you start out with about 5.
The game was a little overwhelming at first due to the insane difficulty level and lack of explanation of what each aspect of the ship did, but I caught on pretty quickly.
If you don't mind dying a lot (which you will until you get to know the levels fairly well) and you like this kind of game, I highly recommend getting it.

Played maybe a half dozen matches in halo 2.
Then went into Revolution X for the Playstation.
[paraphrase]
I will be remembered for saving the world...
but i will not be remembered for partying backstage with the greatest band ever.. Aerosmith
Because i didn't find al the band members hidden throughout the game.
[/paraphrase]
I only got 3 sets of wings because i stupidly missed the other 2.
The first set i missed i went to the wrong bathrrom on because i wasn't paying attention and the other one i missed the elevator i was supposed to go into.
So maybe i will beat thru it again tomorrow so i get my backstage pass...
My score was only
6,486,450... if i had gotten those other wings it would have been so astronmically higher.

King Of The Monsters for Neo-Geo AES.
Basically, this is a wrestling game made to look like a giant-monster-destroys-city game, and it is a BLAST. It doesn't get much better than good, old-fashioned arcade action, and this game delivers. I can't wait to get a second controller and try the two-player vs and cooperative modes, as I've heard a lot of good things about them. This game's fun factor is super-de-duper, and it's not too expensive, so if you have an AES, I would recommend picking it up.

Yesterday, a buddy of mine got the following games & peripherals:
Guncon
Guncon 2
Vampire Night (PS2)
Time Crisis II (PS2)
Time Crisis (PSX)
Point Blank 3 (PSX)
And we played them all day today. I must say, it's the most fun I've had in a long time. I'm probably going to buy Time Crisis: Crisis Zone w/Guncon 2 and Point Blank 3 w/Guncon when I get the money. Yesss...

@ CFB how was Vampire Night?
I have been off and on debating weather or not i should grab that when i start buying guncon shooters.
Halo 2
Gonna play Katamri Damacy again later and also try and finish up Dark Cloud.
I have been on the last dungeon for the last year or 2 or more... and just never finished it. I erally need to remedy that situation.
