I just picked up Dawn of Sorrow and have started to play that through. I think that Portrait of Ruin is my favorite of the DS Castlevania's, but I haven't played more than two hours of Dawn of Sorrow yet. I don't like the touch screen gimmick in DoS, but it isn't too intrusive, so I can live with it.
Once you beat it there's a mode where you can play as three of the supporting characters ala Castlevania 3. I think I enjoyed that playthrough way more than the normal storyline path.
Agreed, as was the case of Dawn of Sorrow's 'Julius Mode.'

Some sections are a little tough but I think they made it a little easier to gain experience and levels in the 3d remake. I have no proof but I found myself leveling faster compared to the NES runs of the game I did. One of my favorites games still.
Tried Phelios again, got to the level 3 boss and wasted my last 3 continues on her. By the end my thumbs were so tired
I wish this level select code that keeps popping up on websites would work so I don't have to keep playing those first two stages.
Also Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles and WarioLand 4.

Hitman Bloodmoney: Played through the first mission. Nothing special.. glad this was a rental.
Forza Horizon: Played through the first couple races. Great game so far.

I blew through my 30 lives in Contra and made it to the waterfall stage. Just a quick play.

Going back to Rapture in Bioshock 2. I'd started it right after release, and enjoyed it, but had to shelve it because of family needs. Its now the game for my workouts, and I want to finish it before Infinite comes out.

Heavy Rain is great! I love the interactive story-telling. It plays out more like a movie which you have total control over.
I've the end of The Last Story within my sights, only a couple more chapters.

I'm enjoying it so far and my girlfriend likes watching me play it. So it's a win win situation for both of us.

Tested out my 32X games today before I put them up for sale. Star Wars was rather fun and I appreciated the sound fx a lot despite haven't seeing the movies in +10 years.

Shadow Squadron is a great overlooked gem on the 32X that I highly recommend if you at all enjoy SW: Arcade. There is a mode for two players with one gunning and the other navigating a real-time 3D space, putting the similar mode in SW:A to shame.
