Started Football(Read: Soccer) Genius today.
Despite having almost 0 knowledge of the sport i have managed to get almost all of the achievements with relative ease. In large part to a cache of 500 answers someone was nice enough to type out....
Did more KenKen puzzles. I really don't see myself being able to do this once the puzzles start getting into larger dimensions.
Also cleared about 10 stages in Contre Jour.
Got invited to do a game of Nexuiz. Complete waste of time. If i ever play this again it will be with a full party of people because it was not fun at all.

Played Castlevania Harmony of Despair for about 20 minutes. Game is only fun with a group(imo) and it is really designed to be played that way. So i stopped playing.

After 4 hours of trying to set up online play, a friend and I finally got Freelancer to work. We are currently playing online on one of the many servers still running for this game.
It's totally awesome.

Played the trial game for Dust: An Elysian Tale from XBLA. Bought it yesterday for 600 points on their daily year end sale.

Buddy of mine came over and gave us Dance Central 3 for an early Christmas present, then showed us how to move the Kinect to the far side of the TV so it can actually see us. I can finally play Child of Eden! And, now my arms are really, really tired.

Just finished up Deadlight. IMO not worth the 1200 MSP. Even the 600 was kind of pushing it. It is short (>3 hours) and i don't understand the immense acclaim it has gotten from some people. It isn't very hard either. And the alt history while it could have had potential is just tacked on. Main characters voice acting sucked too.
Started Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.
So far it is awesome. Doesn't seem really tough either but seems like it will be longer than Deadlight.
It is done by Sega and has some great one liners. I guess it is kind of Bad Fur Day-esque with more adult themes and humor. So far not signing shit or bathroom humor which is a huge plus for me too.

So Child of Eden is such a treat for a Rez fan like myself, but the Kinect's inherent lag is now making me want to try the PS3 move version...
Still, graphics, art design, and of course the music makes me want to put up with the imprecise controls...

You definitely lose some of the cool immersion when using a controller instead, not to mention the targeting reticule is smaller and the game overall more difficult. Very noticeable that it is a concession and not the preferred design. Not as bad as playing the Playstation versions of Time Crisis without a gun, but worth putting up with motion controls. I may attempt controller play for challenge later. It is made to grind for unlocks anyway.
