^I've mustered up like zero point zero interest in the Wii U so far.
^My interest in the Wii U boils down to two things: (1) Replacing the Wii, that's suffering a malfunctioning drive (2)New Super Mario Bros. Wii U.

On the plus side, I left Skyward Sword in the drive so no futzing around with it getting it to work. I'll get a chance to spend a little time with it tonight.

There are a couple Wii U titles I wouldn't mind trying out, but I'm in no hurry.

did some more Starcraft finally. stopped at the beginning of protoss mission 9...if it's like the first 2 campaigns then only one more mission after that to finish the game. then it's on to brood war, i'd like to finish this before heart of the swarm comes out so it's good to be getting back into it.

1001 Crystal Mazes Collection (DSiW) - I am now getting the hang of this and progressing a little faster through the levels.

Tried out some American McGee's Alice today. Not too bad so far but I'm glad I didn't throw money down on the original PC version.

So... After owning the disk for two years I FINALLY get to play the original Lunar: The Silver Star.

This is a franchise I've loved since the PS1 days (I jumped from NES immediately to PS1 with nothing inbetween, alas), and I'm in love with it, but I keep comparing it with the SNES JRPGs I've been playing of late. The music is obviously better, and the addition of voice acting is a wonderful thing. I heard Luna's voice for the first time in the game and - despite never caring for her in the PS1 version - I fell instantly in love. Same voice actress, just a different performance. Gentler, I think.

The major disappointments, though, are that the interface feels a little clunky and hap-hazzard. Not very well polished gameplay or animations, and the game REALLY suffers on the color palate. The later iterations of the game are so bright and colorful - the aesthetic of the world is one of the reasons I fell in love with the franchise - and yet this game is almost as dull with the use of shades of brown as a modern FPS.

I've been getting back into retrogaming, largely because this gen, aside from a few gems, has been a huge disappointment for me. I recently got Sonic Advance 2 for GBA, a series I largely passed up on because I bought other titles that were rarer.

I also found a complete copy of Dark Wizard for Sega CD for relatively cheap - $25. I almost never buy Sega CD games anymore, but this is one of the few decent titles I've always wanted but didn't get back in the day.

Speaking of Sega CD, I should try the original Lunar. I've only played the PSX remake.

Started playing Zelda: Spirit Tracks, my wife got it for me for my birthday.  I am hoping it is as good as Phantom Hourglass.

Plants vs. Zombies (XBLA) - I am doing the money boosting method to generate large sums of cash for my Tree of wisdom/buying the remaining plants achievements.
