Growlanser: Wayferer of Time
3 more battles and I'm done for now. I want to get some other games done before I start hunting for endings on this one.

0D Beat Drop (XBLA) - Now that the online is out of the way, I need to focus on the two hardest achievements in the game.

Spent this weekened's free time fighting with the Wii to read discs - and it had particular trouble with Skyward Sword. Once I finally got it working, had about 10 minutes to really play it.

I'd get it fixed if the WiiU wasn't right around the corner (and is backwards compatible).

Otherwise played some games with the girlfriend: You Don't Know Jack on PS3; Monopoly on the SNES and Jeopardy! on the NES.

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine on Ps3.

I just finished that on 360.  I enjoyed it, but then I grew up a fan of Warhammer 40,000.  I felt it to be a rather average gameplay experience greatly heightened by the atmosphere, tone, art design, and 'feel' Relic developed.  Made up for bland level design and stretched pacing.  Glad I finished it, but disappointed the team won't be taking what they learned and mastering it in a sequel.

I bought Battlefield 3 yesterday, so I'm playing it.  I'm not a huge fan of FPS games, but it is OK so far.  I was going to trade it into Amazon to make a few bucks, but the TIV dropped by nearly half.  Sad

I'm a big FPS fan, but not a modern-day setting shooter fan.  I did enjoy the single player campaigns in the Call of Duty games, but the multiplayer never grabbed me (except Zombies.  Love co-op)  It was the other way around with Battlefield 3; single player didn't grab me, but I've had a super-fun time with the multiplayer.

I just declined an invitation from Club Nintendo to preview the Wii U in SanFran at the end of September.

I was considering it until I read the terms & conditions, especially the part about "further grant[ing] Nintendo permission to use... any fictitious statements attributed to you."

That just didn't sound right to me.

Oh, well... guess I'll hafta wait a little longer and experience it the same time as the rest of you plebes.

^I've mustered up like zero point zero interest in the Wii U so far.
