I believe he is referring to the Angry Video Game Nerd.
He never reviewed that.
Yeah he did. I think it's one of his most popular episodes.
Anyways, I finally got FEAR 2 today. After the 1 day extra wait for some reason, I didn't get the book that I was supposed to for preordering, The slip case being impossible to take off, and an annoying UPC sticker on the back, I finally started playing. I beat the first level and I'm very impressed. The graphics are great, the combat is even better too. However, it seems to be more like Halo + Rainbow Six then it does a sequal to one of my favorite games.

Ohhhh, you mean James Rolfe, that ripoff artist! The
real AVGN
never reviewed that game.

Played some CoD3 with RonMexico.
Also DL'd and played demos for NHL '09 and EA 3-on-3 NHL Arcade.
NHL '09 is tough...the controls are a total re-work of everything I'm used to playing in a hockey video game (RT to PASS?!?!...WTF?)...got my ass kicked on Easy.
EA 3-on-3 NHL Arcade was surprisingly fun! It definitely feels like a throwback arcade game...lots of action. Controls were pretty user-friendly to just pick up and play. And the powerups add some variety and fun as well..."tiny goalie" is hilarious! Worth the 800 MS point ($10) cost, imo.

I have the demo of that game downloaded on my PS Tripple, but haven't bothered trying it out yet.
Because I don't feel like making a new post, I played some Left 4 Dead on my computer last night. God that game runs like crap on this old ass machine.
But I still love it!

^L4D is a blast! And we're getting a free DLC update for it soon. Apparently, they're adding "Survivor" mode and making the other 2 campaigns available for "VS." play.
Played my copy of SC4 (360) last night. Worked fine. Played through the Ivy Story mode. SC4 has probably the easiest 5 point achievement EVER...creating a save file when you start up the game for the very first time gets you an achievement. Hilarious.
Also played CoD3 with den68. A few team battles. Won the very last one so it was time to call it a night.

Getting further along in Prince of Persia. Pretty much the only game holding my interest at the moment.

Are you being serious? (No pun intended at all)
That guy's oldest video is from two years ago, I'm pretty sure James Rolfe has been doing the AVGN for way longer than that.
EDIT: On
This
page you can see James Rolfe did his first AVGN videos back in 2004.

I played the tutorial level of
Dawn of War
. It really looks like a neat game, just need to get used to it a bit more.

I'm on a massive Pokemon kick, and played 4 hours of Sapphire in the car today. Got 3 badges, and couldn't remember where Rock Smash was, so I need to look that up.

Started Disgaea - Afternoon of Darkness today. I needed a change of pace from Jeanne D'Arc. I only played maybe 15 minutes. I'm barely getting into the tutorials.
P.S. Galactic Pinball rules
