Mount & Blade...simply astounded I hadn't heard of this game. Most fun I've had with a game since Myth II.

Based on my very limited time with the LittleBigPlanet beta, I think this game has the potential to change the face of gaming on a magnitude of Mario 64 level. I am utterly in love with this game!

^Get a room, Tondog!
Played some Halo 3 in order to get the 7 on the 7th achievement, but I guess I was too late.
Also started playing some Dead Rising! Got to case 1-4, died, and mistakenly didn't start from my last save because I went with the option to "Resume with current skill level" or something. It then took me back to the beginning! So it looks like I'm starting over, but at my current skill level (3) for Frank West. Not a bad thing now that I'm a little more familiar with the territory of the mall.

That's what I hated about Dead Rising. The save points were so hard to get to then you mostly had to start again. I couldn't be bothered after a while.

I believe you. I'm honestly getting tired of the same old FPS and third person shooters we see so many of each and every day. I'm glad a developer has the guts to create something new and exciting.
Played some more
Warcraft III
but spent more time on
Colin Mcrae Rally 04
because of the review I wrote. It actually made me want to play the game again, now.

Indeed. The coolest thing about LBP is that almost all the user created levels I've played so far have been very good. Hell, someone used the level creator to build a pinball machine that you can actually play. Now that's brilliant.

Mount & Blade has been consuming my time when I have any. It could be better, it has its flaws, but seriously this game is the bomb. No idea why gamespot would have given it such a low review score.

Heh, that's cool!
LittleBigPlanet will definitely be on top of my to-buy list when I'll eventually get a PS3.

Does LBP have the ability to create competitive multiplayer games (i.e. like a sports-type game or something like Smash Bros)? Or is it strictly platforming?

I think I know what needs to be done. The mistake I made was not finding a restroom after the battle with Carlito. Instead of following Brad to the next destination, I had enough time to be able to get to the restroom to do a save, but I didn't do it.
Damn fun game, though! Killing zombies with a bar stool...fun.

It's great to see people playing Dead Rising still. I love that game.
I have been playing FEAR Files for awhile. Its alot of fun and I think it's scarier than FEAR.

As far as I know, yes. I think I've seen a soccer level in the past, but I could be wrong. I'll do some more checking into that for you.

^Thanks.
Played some more Dead Rising last night. Propane tanks rock!
I'm getting used to the save system, and the shooting mechanics. However, the AI for the survivors that you escort is pretty weak. However, the overall gameplay and funfactor is more than good enough to compensate for it's weaknesses, imo.
I've pretty much been ignoring the scoop missions at this point because I don't have much of a grasp on how much time I have available in order to keep the story line moving along. If you have to escort everyone all the way back to the control room, that would seem unreasonably tough!

That's another thing I hated about it. The people you try rescuing are complete idiots who don't follow you and don't fight the zombies, even when you give them a weapon. So you spend a lot of time trying to rescue them then get killed yourself.
The best weapon was the double chainsaw from killing the clown.
