Played some Guitar Hero II tonight, which is my first time playing the series. Why didn't anyone tell me how awesomely fun this game is?

It's ironic that in the US you can't drink until you're 21 but you can drive at 16. That doesn't make any sense to me because reckless driving can easily lead to serious injury or death. In my opinion, 16 is too young to drive. Heck, I'm 19 and I still don't have my drivers license. I'm kind of too lazy to get it Tongue

Here, we can do both at 18. (18=an adult)

Well, to drive at 16, it needs to be with a 21 year old or older, and you can't drive by yourself

The 17 year old license (which I got) lets you drive by yourself, or with one other person.

At 18, you can drive whoever and whenever you want.

I don't know what state you are talking about, but here in Illinois, @ 15 you can get your permit, which you must be with a person with a license over 21. At 16, If you fulfill the hours requirement, you can get your license and drive with one other person without a license or under 21 person, unless you are carpooling. At 18, you can do what ever, and you are also allowed to get a motorcycle license at that time.

I didn't know that, thanks for clearing that up Smiley

But still, what's the point to be allowed to drive at 16 when you need to be accompanied by someone 21 years old? Then that person who is accompaning you might aswell drive so there's no point in letting the 16 year old drive, is there?

You also say that with the 17 year old license you can drive by yourself, then what's the difference with the 18 year old license?

@logical: Letting a 15 year old drive is even more irresponsible Shocked ,with a companion or not.

I played FF7 for the first time to day.  No memory card so I didn't get to far before quitting.

Here, you get a permit at 15 1/2 and you can drive with a licensed adult guardian (usually a parent) and then at 16 you get a regular license, but I think they limit how many passengers you can have now. Then at 18 you can do whatever.

And yes, Logical, drinking is very bad, you should never do it Roll Eyes
Ironically though, as I've been drinking since about 2:00 today and it's now 11:00. I'm drinking a ton of water now though so I won't be hung over for the flea market tomorrow.

Yeah, that brings up another thing! My dad lets my little 10 year old sister drive. We almost fell of a huge bridge twice into the Missisippi River, I'm surprised the police didn't pull her over so there could be lulz to be had.
