More of the Empire demo. Gameplay is a lot different in the land battles what with the emphasis on guns. I mean, I know defensive strategies of the era, but offensive is different. You can't just charge in like in the last several games or your men will be turned into mincemeat by the guns.

Played some more Pokemon Ranger.
Beat the main story. Unlocked Ranger Net.
Debating going back into the game to get the top score on a 1 or 2 of the capture games and finding/capturing the last of the pokemon.

Got a deal @ Best Buy on a tip from den68 & picked up Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for $10. Tried it out last night and it worked fine.
Also played more Fallout 3.

Killzone 2! SOOOOO GOOD! Picked it up at Wal-Mart's midnight launch event that I totally created myself because no one here cares about Kz2.

Congrats on SF4!
Mercenaries 2: WIF starts out pretty good. I played out the 1st mission, which is set up in tutorial style. The game's graphics aren't up to curren gen standards, but the gameplay and destructibility make up for it, imo.
Again, I've played very little, but it gives a good 1st impression.

Been playing copious amounts of
Lost Odyssey
on the X360. It lacks a bit of polish but otherwise it's a very rewarding and fun RPG. The game screams with Hironobu Sakaguchi's influence. At times it feels a lot like Final Fantasy VIII and I mean that in a good way. It's actually refreshing to play a JRPG that isn't aimed at a tween/teen audience. In fact, the main character is a grandfather and his hair isn't spiked at all!

Ended up trying to completely complete this.
There are a couple of bonus missions that i am delaying until i can get the info for the last 15ish pokemon i need.
Ranger net missions and the bonus missions may help fill out those 15ish but i am not sure yet.
Got invited to a Rock Band party tonight.
I haven't played much rock band so i know i am going to suck.
But its a bunch of friends i haven't seen in years and my cuz so a good time should be had by all

I'm glad you enjoy it.
I think most reviewers were a bit harsh about the technical issues, especially since they don't influence the gameplay all that much.

Had a buddy over and decided to go old school genesis.
even with the game genie we couldn't beat:
Gunstar Heroes
Battletoads/Double Dragon
Started Ocarina of Time again recently, up to about the Water Temple. But I need to take care of some side quests.
On the DS front still Touchmaster, and newly aquired Rubik's World. Been waiting a bit to delve into the Sonic RPG.
