In the next 2 weeks, Galaga and Pac Man are finally going to be available on the Xbox Live Arcade. These are 2 titles that I've been looking forward to ever since they were announced at the beginning of the year. Hopefully they won't cost too many points.

Anyone else looking forward to these?

Shocked  You gotta get online! In addition to Xbox Live Arcade for classic titles, there's a swarm of original xbox arcade games out there to try out that have that classic arcade "feel" to them, and in some cases are actually better than the old staples.

There's also tons of free demos to try out (for both the arcade and new releases), game videos (new halo 3 and Mass Effect are out), movie trailers, not to mention dowloadable content, etc.

And you can just use your existing xbox live account (that is, if you have one) to access all of it.

Personally, I've been very impressed with it.

Just my $.02.

I hardly turn on my 360 anymore. I can't remember the last time it was on. I should check out some the arcade games but I wont be playing any game online unless it is with someone I know. Halo 2 ruined online gaming for me. I am looking foward to Phantasy Star Universe.

I don't really play online much either.

However, with all the new content available, I've been taking advantage of all the free demos and trailers that are out there for my own use. It sure beats renting when you have a free demo.

I'm getting and have been getting every arcade game that comes out. The Galaga acheivements are extremely easy to get - simply play the game to level 31. If you didn't check out Cloning Clyde I'd recommend it. It reminds me of some of the better 16-bit era games (think Earthworm Jim). Highly addictive and worth the 800 point purchase.

Phoenix, I don't think I have you on my friend list anymore. Send me a friend request (to Ant1m1nd) and if you got Frogger we can tag team it girl
