My brother and I had just gotten Metal Gear Solid 2 some years ago. It was summer, but instead of going out, being social, swimming in the sea and all that crap, we played until our eyes bled!

Later that night, we went to bed as usual, but a bit exhausted from the many hours of gaming.

When finally the sun rose and it got to morning, I walked into his room and found him very confused of the whereabouts of his quilt. We searched and searched... and for some odd reason we found it stuffed in his wardrobe, just like when you hide the guards in the lockers in MGS 2.  Cheesy

I remembered we played with that function in the game many, many times, and this had to be the cause of his sleepwalking   Smiley

Any of you have some funny or stupid gaming related stories to tell?

One time me and a friend played the same level of Tomb Raider III for six hours and still never beat it. I'd say it was stupid to play that game.

I have more stories, like probably good ones, but I can't think of them now.

I've got a doosy.  Years ago I got really drunk and then went home and my friend started playing a 3d shooting game and I was laying on the bed watching and I got dizzy and barfed all over the place.

There was the time I came home from the bar completely plastered and jumped on X-Box Live for a few rounds of Mech Assault.  Actually played better than when I was sober!  Even managed to be the sole survivor in a team deathmatch!  Then I passed out mid game...I woke up to the "The Host X-Box Has Removed You From The Game" message...guess the guy didn't like my snoring...

Then there was the time a few years back when my buddy Jay and I were playing Gradius, determined to beat it.  Never did, but that's not the funny part.  We ended up having a high score competition, which I won with over 300,000 points, but that's not the funny part either.  The funny part was that we didn't eat or sleep for three days, we were so into the game...and eventually I started tripping out from sleep deprivation.  He forced me to go to bed after I started a fistfight with a little green Smurf that was sitting on my TV calling me a pussy because I got killed by one of those Moai head things...I swear if I ever see that damn Smurf again I'm gonna kill it!!!

I call bs on not eating or sleeping for 3 days.   Wink  I couldn't go 24 hours without food unless I was tied down to something...literally.

I've gone 3 days without sleep before... no problem.  But I know people who fast for a weekend, and they have difficulty.  So unless you have a strong belief in God, I'm pretty sure you had something to snack on during that time.

There has been more than one occasion when i seriously have contemplated doing an action in real life that i could succesfully do in a video game.

I had only been driving for a day or so and my cuz was with me. I was stopped about 10 cars back from a rather large intesection when a tanker truck pulled thru.
I said "if i hit the speed boost i could hit the tanker for 100,000 dollars if i get it to blow up completely."
He stared at me in disbelief for a second like i had lost my mind(i did visualize the awesomeness of the explosion in my head so maybe i did?) then i said "with my luck i would hit the heartbreaker and lose half my monies though."

So from then on out we always would make referance while driving to crashing into vehicles and the amount i would get if the real world was like burnout 3.

I can't think  of anything else off the top of my head right now. Need to jog my memory

It's funny you should mention about Burnout, Anthony, when ever I play Burnout or Gran Turismo or the like and have to go up to my girl friends afterwards I always end up driving like a complete nob. It's quite worrying at times as I don't even realise im doing it until Ive to slam on the brakes at the traffic lights or a give way.

At one time I could go 24 hours without feeling hunger. I'd have to drink water, but I was able to go for really long periods without food. Needless to say, the year I'd eat nothing I did not weigh much, and when I did eat I ate a lot. Too bad now I run and there is no chance in hell I could ever go 24 hours without feeling sick. Damn my body not being in famine mode anymore.

Oh, yes, funniest moments related to gaming. Well this is not me, but the Nintendo 64 kid is hilarious.

In 6th grade, my classmates and I had to host a medival fair for school...

Anyway, in high school, around the time a few friends and me were playing Dynasty Warriors 2 for the PS2.  One day, we got this idea from Dynasty Warriors to dig out our old medival outfits.  So we dug those out along with plastic swords from when we were kids. We also made some cardboard shields.

We got all dressed up and drove to random parts of town and got out and just started beating the crap out of each other (jackass style). It was really funny sometimes because we could get a group of 30 or more people watching us duke it out.

One time when we had a crowd, one of my friends took off his shoe and just chucked it at our other friend.  It nailed him right in the head and his cardboard helmet went flying... not to mention it stopped him right in his tracks.  And the crowd just cheered.

Lucky for us we were picking random locations, because eventually the cops were called on us.  One of our parents heard it over the com.  I don't know if that would fit into disturbing the peace or if someone just thought we were using real swords?!?
