So there's the Other Movie Game going on, and I like that idea, but would love to try to apply it to music too.  So many songs, so many albums, so little... hell, we've got all the time in the world!

At least until we run out of disk space.  Whatever.

Same rules as the movie thread, follow the qualifications, go till ten and start a new one.  Please list song title and artist (album if you want to, not a requirement).

Let's start with something simple... blatantly political tunes?

1. "Deify" by Disturbed (Bush quote at the beginning sounds like a letter to the prez)

1. Dave Matthews Band - Big Eyed Fish
2. Everlast - What It's Like
3. Joy Division - Twenty Four Hours
4. REM - Losing My Religion
5. A Covenant of Thorns - Purgatory (the only darkwave band I've ever liked)

So no one can post Mad World

6. Apoptygma Berzerk - Pikachu (he has a bigger variety of sound than almost every other artist I have ever herd.
7. Assemblage 23 - Lullaby (I like how they are a futurepop bank with actual EBM influence.
8. Screeching Weasel - Girl Next Door (guitars lolz)
9. Supercar - Yumegiwa Last Boy (I usually don't namedrop anything from Japan now that it is popular to do so.  But it is a really chill song)
10. VNV Nation - Too Close (amazing all around)

Song that are more awesome and over the top than Jesus punching Santa in the dick while on the moon in the 80s.

1. DragonForce - Where Dragons Rule
