Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is crap and you should boycott

I saw this crapfest last night. It was totally incoherent, mindless drivel. To make matters worse, it was 2 and 1/2 hours long. I wanted to kill people when it was over. Of course 8 billion stupid teenybopper girls will love this heap, because Orlando Bloom is soooooo dreamy. It angers me.

Also, I noticed something else that pissed me off. This movie was pretty gory. There was some serious graphic violence. Jack Sparrow wearing a necklace made of severed toes (and eating some of them) probably sticks out as most disgusting. There are also numerous scenes of severed limbs, mangled bodies and other such awesomeness. You all know I'm a huge fan of graphic violence. You can never have enough entrail rending or eviscerations for me, but that's not the problem.

There is no question in my mind that if this movie didn't have the Walt Disney name attached to it, it would have been rated R. People should be more upset about this, especially here in the video game community.

Plenty of times, media watchdog groups have jumped on us for the violence in the games we like to play. Almost every one of these times, said game has been clearly marked as featuring adult content. Now, Disney puts this crap out, obscures the violent content, CLEARLY markets it to young children, and nobody cares. Where's Joe Lieberman on this one? How come Jack Thompson isn't trying to sue Disney?

Here is what you do.  You need to set  up a trap with some cheese, pepperoni and other assorted table scraps.  They love that stuff.  Let it sit out back overnight.  Also, tie a rope around the handle.  This will be important later.  When you catch it, take it to the nearest lake/pond/body of water.  Throw it in so that the top of the cage is about 2 or 3 inches under water.  They'll run back and forth or a while.  Pull the cage out when you hear them stop running back and forth.  Give them a minute to recover.  Then repeat as necessary.  Eventually they just give up.  At this time leave the cage in there for a good  20 minutes to make sure they aren't just unconscious or playing a trick on you, since all females are deceitful vile hell-beasts.

Bam, no more girlfriend.

It's entertaining, good acting and whatnot, but yes, retarded as hell. I had no idea at the end of the movie why Sparrow wanted the thing that he had spent the whole movie trying to get.

I just got back from seeing Pirates. I liked it but it did leave almost everything unresolved. I know there is going to be a third one but it could have had somewhat of an ending. I feel like I just watched half of a really long movie.

Okay, the beginning was a little slow and there was absolutely no reason for Sexy Jack Sparrow to be putting severed toe nails in his mouth (WTF JACK WTF), but I thought it was pretty good. A little too much action and not quite enough explaining, but it made sense to me anyway, so I can't complain too much.

Can I just say real fast, though? Hot Keira Knightley on Hot Johnny Depp action = Ho'shit.

Maybe that's just my fangirl going berserk with two of the sexiest people ever, though.

The fight on the wheel lasted too long and the whole part onthe island with the people that want to cook jack had no point. Cut those down and out save 30 minutes of lameness.

I'll admit that fight on the wheel was effing ridiculous, but as for the whole island slash cannibal people, that was great! It was all about the conflict, danger and adventure that pirating brings.

Besides, who doesn't like cannibals?

People who meet cannibals in person generally don't like cannibals. But otherwise, everyone likes cannibals.

I thought the action was well done. The thing had nothing else going for it except sexy stars.
