The seller was given a 5 digit offer on the cart. I think the next closest offer was $8,000. If I could find one for cheap I'd buy it. Don't know if I would keep it though since the game will eventually erase itself and then to me it would be worthless.
what do you mean erase it self?

This game is like the 3 Panesian (Adult Carts)...They have eproms and after 20+ years they begin to go bad. There are rare eprom atari games going on 30 years that are still kicking, but they will collapse at any time.

So has anyone asked the seller for scans to add to the database yet?

I had the game in my hands today and got some good pictures of it. It looked even better in person and it was very fun to play. The seller came and hung out at my store for about 5 hours and we talked about all things video games. It was fun to think that in my hand might be the most $$$ any game has sold for.

Funny stuff, I just bought a $5,000 CD today. NOT the music CD's... and damn I wonder what is worth more? This or the game?

No, I'm not rich -- just a good saver at money. Smiley

Certificate of deposit. Go on down to your local bank!

I know I should have waited for this game to appear! Now I have to wait another 12 months. Oh well. :p

Thought I'd chime in over here. This is my game...It didn't sell. I had a straight cash offer of 12.5k and a structured payment sale of 17.5k. I ended up turning both offers down. I hoping for 15k straight cash deal. Who knows maybe the 12.5k was the best straight offer I would get, but I may attempt to sell this in the winter when more money seems to be available.

Might want to wait until tax return time? Wink I always see NES games go crazy in price about this time.

I say winter because most of the people who showed interest were buisness owners. The christmas season is the best time for retailers, and they have much more cash in hand at that time. Tax retuen money usually isn't enough to make a big purchase like this.
