A non Nintendo, non Sony PS2 game! Who would have thought? Well, it's genesis week here at RF Generation and with that distinction comes the featured game Toe Jam & Earl. Tell us what you think of this game! Did you think it was terrible, or was it the best game ever? Please, whatever you do, discuss.

I played this game a lot back in the day. What a great and odd game. With my next comment I will sound old. They don't make them like this any more.

You're damn right Tynstar.  This game had such an odd flair that hooked you.  The originality made this game stand out.  Hell, it still does.

I also haven't played this game before.  I'll see if Tray wants to get it for MegaDrive, sounds like a great game!

I can't believe i haven't posted yet...

Toe Jam and Earl was one of the first few games i owned with my Genesis.
Loved the game insanely. Played it all the time.
With my bro, with my cuz, with my mom.
Yea she really enjoyed it too.

First game i remember getting to a secret world in: top right corner of the first stage you can fall down toa  world below with a lemonaid stand and babes in a hot tub, it requires cheating or lucking out and getting floats/wings for presents and having alot of life to get there Wink

I was also unfortunate enough to have the game sold on me. My mom sold it with all my other genesis stuff for 20$s at a tag sale. I have not seena  version anywhere in the real world since and eBay prices are way to high for my blood(maybe in the near future the way i have been spending lately).

In anycase i better make sure i rated this game.
I give it an easy 100. I sunk many hours into this as a kid waiting for my mom to get home from work, on the weekends when friends couldn't play or the weather was shitty, during the summer when it was too hot to want to go outside.

One of the games i will always associate with my childhood.
Thank you Sega for helping create the person i am today.

Think this was one of the first games I got for my Sega and one of only a few that my brother and I could play without getting into a fist-fight over.  Great game and funny as hell.  Unfortunately, I sold our copy years ago and have regretted it ever since.  The last time I looked, this game goes for big bucks on ebay.
