I am pretty sure DP said it was an R9 (nevermind its an R8 ), their guide is down now so i am not sure.

I am so stoaked about this but i pretty much can't tell anyone "in the real world" how much i payed for quite some time...

Wikipedia just says it commonly goes for over 100$s on eBay. Which i find strange since i havn't seen a copy before.

I still can't believe i spent this much on one game...

Nice win man!  Is it the rarest PSX release?  I never knew there were games with a rarity higher than R7 released for PSX...pretty cool man.  Is this also the most expensive/rare MK game for any system?

It is the rarest and most expensive Mortal Kombat game.

I am not sure what was meant by that...

I do know it is missing the spinecard though.
I only know that because i saw the spine card in a scan of the game on Playstation japan quite some time ago.

It is an R8 so it is probably one of the rarest PSX games but i doubt it is THE rarest PSX game.
But seeing as it is an import that makes it that much better.

Let me tell you a few things about this port:

1.  This port is the worse port out there (on the same level as the Saturn).
2.  Music is fucked up (it's so gay).
3.  Loading times kills the game completely (just do a fatality).

Congrats on spending over $100 on the worse port of MKII EVER!

Thats cool thanks for trying to be a killjoy but i am phsyched about it because it is the hardest mortal kombat game to get.

Just a heads up, alt of the ports suck, alot of them have fucked up music, alot have shitty load times, alot have bad frame rates and none are as expensive or nearly as uncommon as this one(well maybe the gameboy/gamegear and tiger handhelds but those will be heap when they show up.).

This is the most i have ever spent on a game. The second most was also on a MK game for 60$s.

I was just so surprised i found it on a whim i BINed it as soon as i read the quality.

Unfortunately i don't know of any websites that have stolen their rarity guides yet.

But when something is really irking me i can find it by getting a cached page from a search engine(since it will still allow me to see a downed webpage just without the pictures)

Sorry but the price doesn't justify the gameplay.  Trust me Ant, the gameplays sucks and once you play it, you don't want to play it ever again.
