According to an esteemed submission approver, I now have my first Germany-release game cartridge in my collection.

My friend gave me a multitude of games when he left to become a monk, among those titles, his French PS1 copy of FFVI. I remember getting it, as it was my first international title, I hope it brings you joy like this game did me.

(sidenote): I remember being super upset when it wouldn't work in my PS1.

Best way to experience French FFVI: Watch a Twitch streamer by the name of mistermv. Watch the opera.

Just hit 100 PS and DC games at the same time. Here is the number 100 for each:

Impressive!
Daytona USA as your 100th DC game? Nice, although you can't beat the arcade original.

Your NTSC releases are easier to store than PAL ones, as you have standard CD cases.
If all my PS1 games were NTSC, I might be able to fit them all on the shelf...

Yeah, I feel bad for how PAL got shafted on PSX and Saturn.

Yeah I've had some PAL DC games come into the store. They look fantastic, but they are definitely a pain to store and seem very fragile.

Hey now,

100 PS2 games is nothing to laugh at. I don't think I have that many, and I have close to 3000 games in my collection.

Having 100 video games of any kind is nothing to laugh at, remember, we're like 1%'ers as far as numbers of video games owned.

Wow, we're like the Koch Brothers of gaming or something.

BTW sorry 'bout my apathy; I'm just spoiled as far as game collecting is concerned. I constantly try to keep in mind that not everyone is fortunate enough to live in an area with the kind of resources that are available to me. But, I occasionally slip up. However, I do make an effort to share my good fortune with others. 'Cuz I don't want y'all to be too pissed at me...

Speaking of milestones: this here's my 3500th post. At this rate, I should catch up to Izret's present post count in about 18 more years.

I just passed 2800 total games and finished off two of my goals for this year:  100 total Gamecube games and 365 total games purchased for the year.  I may need to create some more goals or I'm just going to blow through everything well before the end of the year.

Just passed the 900 game mark.  Smiley

All right, let's see how long 'til ya get into the four-figure club!

I just passed 2800 total games...

Damn, I don't even have 2800 overall pieces in my collection... yet.

I'm aiming to make it to Page 1 of All Collections by the end of the year, myself. It might be a stretch, though...

...100 total Gamecube games...

I'm 15 away from that mark, myself.

In the meantime: As of a few hours ago, I now have 175 PS1 titles in my stack...

...along with 150 XBox games...

...25 XBox Magazine demo discs...

...aaaand 2200 overall pieces.

EDIT: I forgot to notice that the addition of those demo discs helped me surpass 2000 pieces of software in my collection.

"Hey now"

I'm sitting on page 12 with 488.

I recall being near the bottom of page 5 when I first logged my collection, which was  somewhere around 700 pieces at the time. 3.5 years and 1500 additions later, I've made it to the top half of page 2, which was an all but impossible goal way back when...

Hello again,

I thought I'd throw a weird statistical milestone your way, just for the hell of it.

According to my Collection Stats page, any system with 11 items or less accounts for 0% of my collection. That's 48 systems across 5 different regions, 148 items in all.

It's probably rounding to the closest integer.

EDIT: 11 out of 2214 is 0.49683830171635046%. So close to 0.5, where it would round up to 1%.

I just hit 2600 games. Ideally it should have been an Atari game, but Holy Diver works just as well.

Holy Diver is a hell of a way to hit 2600.
