Today I purchased and downloaded my first noncorporeal PC game from da internetz. Specifically, the downscrolling shooter Raptor: Call of the Shadows from GOG.com.

I remember playing the hell out of the floppy-disk shareware version back in the late nineties. After burning out on the game soundtrack, I started alternating between an import CD of Toto's deep tracks, and America's View From the Ground.

I really wish I was kidding about the music.

64?

Oh sure, just spoil it for everyone else, why don't you.  Angry

In more serious news: I'm inching ever closer to my next big milestone. It's my biggest one yet, as big as my collection (hint, hint).

Stay tuned for more details...

UPDATE: My collection now boasts 1800 pieces of software across all sorts of home consoles, handheld platforms, and PC.

I just passed 2600 total games.  Number 2600 was NHL Hitz 2003 for the PS2.  Not exactly exciting, but the Hitz series are my favorite hockey games.

In the last couple weeks I've achieved 75 PS2 games (again, I had over 100 back before the PS3 was a thing). More importantly I finally completed my PS2 Shin Megami Tensei set!

With all the PS1 games I got today I surpassed 65 there. So here's more Atlus stuff.

That is a sexy picture psycho. I'm still waiting for a Nocturne to come through the store for my PS2 Atlus set.

I randomly found mine at a Gamestop back when they had PS2 games a couple years back. I was too broke to afford it but I wanted it, so I hid it behind the stack of at least 5 copies of 50 Cent Bulletproof. I went back on payday and found it right where I left it.

*EDIT: I keep forgetting to mention that every single one of those is from the first print run, none of the reprints.
