Man I'm a little embarassed at my piddly breaking of the 100 NES game mark after seeing some of the big numbers on the last page!
But hey, I met my year-end collecting goal so oh well.

My collection now has 1200 full console-based games, both home and handheld.
In other words: not including PC titles, "non-game"-classified software, demos, plug-and-play TV game units, or stand-alone handhelds.
I also have 25 pieces of import software, 20 of which hail from Japan.

I've been buying and playing older games on their original hardware pretty much my whole life. Thing is, I constantly traded them off and such when I was through, and kinda took it for granted that stuff like SNES games would be cheap forever.
I've only been seriously collecting the past year or so-ish. After my most recent selling-off of some games I just decided I was sick of regretting selling stuff and decided to just stop.

If anyone's wondering it's a lot more difficult to clean up the carts of a complete set than it is as you buy them.

Not really something for my "collection," but thanks to all the Target-salvage Nintendo titles I've picked up recently, I've achieved Gold status on Club Nintendo for the fourth straight year.
If I keep up my present pace, I'll make Platinum status for the first time ever.

Getting close to another milestone on XBLA.
Countdown to 2013 sale is killing my MSP reserves.
