Thanks to cd-rot im having to rebuy half of my DC collection and since next to the 360 its the system I play my little bit of game money i save every month is going to rebuying games

That's sad to hear. Are they really affected so much that they're unplayable?
They range from sort of playable (test drive:lemans,Rush 2049) to completely screwed (most of them) It wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt all of my favorites. Then on top of that ive got two copies of shenmue that look fine but neither one will play more than a couple of minutes.

Where were the stored? Your room, a box in the basement, .... ? Or doesn't that affect the cd-rot process at all?
