Tidying my room is hard work.  sleeping Apart from adding shelves I don't think I've really cleaned it for at least a year. I donated my TV to my sister now that I have a TV card in my PC, so that cleared some room and inspired me to move things around.

I cleaned up my room a bit last night too.  I was trying to re-organize my extra systems and games.  But every time I'd get something put away, I'd find another box of stuff.  I can't believe how many extra systems I have.  I actually found 6 NES systems when I thought there was only 2.  And so many freaking Genesises I couldn't keep track.

^ Hey I know people in Turkey. They aren't any different than us.

I agree, Leon should know better.
This is a good example of how you do not understand Europe.

Forserious. The U.S. needs to occupy Turkey for 400 years; decimating and stealing both its culture and people. All Turkish Male Children should be pressed into the U.S. Army and forcibly Christianized. Likewise all Turkish families who do not give up their Muslim religion should be taxed until penniless. Any attempt at free speech or rebellion will be quashed with death.

After all of this the Western world would be just about square with Turkey. It's ridiculous that people wonder why Eastern Europe resists Turkey's admittance to the EU so much. It has been hardly three generations since the wankers were slaughtering our families.

ok...

so the other day RAINNNN!!!!!!! walks up to me and the end of school and says he's noticed I was wearing a bandana all day.  He asked why and I said I dont know, I just felt like it.

now he's pissed because last year he got 5 different referrals, all at different times that related to bandana wearing.  And the reason I didnt get in trouble?  The schools racist against native americans, and im a white boy.

I think turkey is best served with enough gravy to drown a seal.  Discuss.

The thing I don't like about Turkey is it's in Eurasia, and yet it's been allowed into the EU.

Today I had a 550 mile drive on 6 hours of sleep and 1 fruit pastel. Dad and I went to Cornwall again to see the business we saw a while ago. I had to drive him home for his 6:45pm curfew and somehow, despite it abolutely pissing down all the way home I got here at 6:46pm.

I had a laugh at his oldness. He couldn't work out these new fangled "petrol pumps" they just invented 70 odd years ago. He took the pump off the hook and put it in the hole but the cashier didn't reset it. So he put it back on the hook, flapped his hands around and huffed for a while. It still wouldn't reset. I told him to put it in the filler hole then pull the trigger. Lo and behold, it reset and started pumping.

You should know this better than I, but;

Quote
In order to acceed to the EU, Turkey must first successfully complete negotiations with the European Commission on each of the 35 chapters of the EU's acquis and then the member states must unanimously agree to Turkish membership. Public opinion in EU countries generally opposes Turkish membership, though with varying degrees of intensity, although political leaders and politicians of the European Union generally support it. Some countries, notably France and Austria, have discussed putting the decision to a referendum.

Turkey’s entry into the EU may have profound consequences on the future direction of the EU. The issues mentioned by some of those objecting to Turkey's EU candidacy can be divided among those inherent to Turkey's situation, those that involve internal issues about human rights, democracy, and related matters, and those concerning Turkey's open external disputes with its neighbours. There is much contention over whether some of these arguments are used by people more as a proxy against peoples true feelings about Turkish membership in the sense that the country is not culturally European and therefore should be denied entry at all.

Get a TI-83 and program it to do the work for you.

It's not like your ever going to need to know how to do it without the aid of technology.
(That sounds like the set up of Dante's Peak 2 or Volcano 2....)

Having spent three days tidying my room, half of it has been rotated by 90* so the desk faces the window. It's still an absolute tip but at least it looks like I've done something. Now I need to clean up my desk. I have bits-n-bobs all over it. Not rubbish, just things that don't have a home.

I may or may not take a picture for my profile, depending on how tidy I can be bothered getting it.
