I've herd those too.  I also herd that  Johnny Depp will be Spock. 

The Damon thing is not going to work for sure.  EvilLeon known I hate Kirk with a passion of a thousand nerds, but even I think his character deserves better.

I'm not sure what to make of the Depp thing.  Normally I would say it won't work, but he is just so dreamy <333
