Not a very good day today, my catalytic convertor went on on the way back from the airport in Manchester, took it too the garage and it set me back £250 to get it repaired, then tonight I noticed there was water on the kitchen  floor and it turns out the f'ing freezer door was open so everything has defrosted. Can you re-freeze everything or is it fecked?

It's probably fecked for the most part. Probably should toss the meat fo' shizzle.

Holy crap!

The sky has opened up and the rain is coming down harder than I have seen it in a long time.

Nice!

Uh-oh, with all this rain Scott might melt!

Well I'm hoping there's no rain. It'd ruin the fireworks show. Alas I don't have VIP tickets this time. Although we're going to try and weasel our way in.

I just hope it doesn't rain next weekend.  By the way, does anyone here live near Cincinnati and want to make some money next weekend?

Dave, this is right up your ally.  I'll even give you the title of Chief Traffic Dynamics Engineer and Project Mangier.

Is this parking cars for the wine festival? On saturday there is a football game I am going to. As long as I don't have to drive cars I could be interested, Eddie too, perhaps.

I found out the other day that Amazon's free postage deal on orders "over £15" is actually on orders over £14.94.

I was going to buy a cable for my camcorder for £3 and noticed it said "Add £11.94 to qualify for free postage!" So I got a game for £11.97 and had it delivered for free.

Also, I'm not sure how well known this is, but if the price of something goes down within 30 days of you ordering it, they'll refund the difference if you ask them. They don't seem to say about that anywhere on the site, which is understandable.

I've been really happy with Amazon over the last three years. I think I've spent over £1,400 now.

Well the fireworks were a smashing good time. We somehow managed to secure some adequate seats with a good view of everything but the low stuff. It wasn't quite last years experience of actually being on the bridge but still a great show put on by Rozzi's Famous Fireworks.

As a side note I want to say that the scientologists completely trashed the place with their pamphlets and I'm sure the clean up crew will be pissed at them.
