I was typing out about the last couple of days for me but started waffling as usual... long story short - I was helping my sister sort out her TV, Phone and Internet at her new house. I used up £12 of mobile phone credit on a freephone number and she still doesn't have a landline phone. I bought and set up a wireless router for her and showed her flatmates how to share media, I tidied up their garden and I put some furniture together. I had to stay another night to wait for an ISP technician to not come over today. Good job I packed a spare pair of undies.
I went to the local Gamestation to look for retro games. It was very clean and light (Strange for Gamestation) with loads of games with their spines pointing out, instead of their faces pointing out as is the usual way of displaying games in shops. I went around the shop a couple of times then finally found their retro section - A storage bin shoved under the main shelves.
Nothing interesting so I didn't bother.
On the way home tonight there was a car on fire on the motorway. From a distance it looked like an early 90s Nissan Micra.
I got home to an angry dad because the crappy old laptop that's literally fallen to bits won't boot. There was also a message from my irked sister to call her because her computer had stopped working properly after I had been doing stuff to it. Isn't it wonderful being the family's IT Consultant? I sorted my sister's computer over the phone but the laptop seems to have a corrupt system file so I'll have to reinstall Windows. Except it has some very important legal files that my dad very stupidly didn't back up. Luckily I have a 2.5" external enclosure to get stuff off the hard drive.
Then tomorrow I have another day at work all by myself just doing sandwiches for ingrateful bastards who eat the whole sandwich then say they want another one for free because it wasn't very satisfying. At least I can sleep in my own comfy bed tonight, instead of a sofa that's half my length.
