I hate dogs. I really do. People always say “OH IT IS THE OWNER WHO MAKES DOG'S MEAN”. Thats bullshit on two accounts. Cats don't maim people. People own cats, and people own dogs. I find it next to impossible to believe that somehow only dogs get the bad owners. Sure, dogs are able to cause a lot more damage than cats, but it is the aggression that dogs have. Cats don't display this.

Also, there should be more restrictions on ownership. There are restrictions on guns, and rightfully so. The dog should work the same way.

I'm not a big dog fan, either.

Cheers to a fellow cat lover!

I don't like dogs either, but I have no doubts that if my cat was big enough it would try to eat me. Although it wouldn't be from anger more than it would be hunger, or misuse of strength.

I started my odd-jobs for my dad today.

The plan was for me to take dad to work, nip over to a collection point, then pop into central London and get back in time for afternoon tea.

The Managing Director had a meeting in London, so he came with me. It's a good thing he did. One of the loads I picked up only had half the amount it was supposed to have. He sorted that out on the phone while I tried to follow his absolutely useless sat-nav, which sent me down some winding country lanes instead of the easy route along the motorway. When we got to London he turned the sat-nav off and gave me directions. I was so confused, and Londoners are extremely rude and agressive drivers. When we got to the first drop off point there was nowhere to park, as is expected in London. So I stayed with the car while he carried all 28 boxes along the side road road next to Harrods (Where I saw a Saudi Arabian Aston Martin DB9) then across the main road. I can't imagine doing that on my own.

So we went to the next drop off, which took an hour because we couldn't find our way around the one way system. Our first attempt got us within 50 yards of the place but we had to turn away from it because it was one way. The rest of the hour was spent spiralling further away then closing in on the damn place. We managed to park legally right outside the front door, which helped with the other 20 boxes.

The last drop off was only one box, so The Boss took it with him and got a taxi there, on the way to his meeting.

I hate London.

I used to read the Driving section of the Sunday newspaper where they interviewed celebrities on their driving. You could always tell which American celebrities had never driven outside London because they said "British" drivers are incredibly rude and it's so hectic. Toady, no one gave way, cyclists go left right and centre, bikers drive on the wrong side of the road, down the invisible middle lane, cutting everyone up. Buses pull out whether it's clear or not. The roads are very disorganised and none of it makes any sense. There's nowhere to park. I really don't know how anything gets done in London.

I hate London.

Oh, well. £120 for just driving. drool

Well, since you were probably driving a company car you probably would not have had to pay the fine had it not been paid for, since I think the cameras only register licenses or cars, not the people inside them.

I was driving my own car, actually. £8 if paid on or before the day, or £10 the day after... I didn't read any further than that because it didn't apply to me. It still seemed to be congested like buggery fuck.

My dad is looking at using this business about an hour South of here to acquire another one in my town. If that goes ahead, I'll be driving a 4X4 Van, like a Mitsubishi Shogun or something, and working from my own town.

I'm going to use this money to pay for some sat-nav. I was going to borrow my friend's one but he's in Paris on a *snigger* "romantic holiday".

Edit: Just checked and company cars aren't exempt from the charge.
