I just picked up this game over the weekend and started playing it.  The hype surrounding this game was immense, and I have to say that it didn't disappoint.

I played for about 4 hours on Saturday and made my character a Dwarf Priest.  So far I'm level 4 and just starting soem of the quests.  I can't believe how massive the world is on this game!

Is anybody else from the board playing this game?  Maybe we could meet up sometime (after I level up a bit that is).

I really really really want to play WoW but can't bring myself to pay 14 a month to play it.

I play.
Have a 60 Undead Priest on Lightning's Blade.
When I picked up the game again recently, I started a Druid on Gul'Dan.

Souza - If you are just starting out, we would be happy to help you out if you join us on Gul'Dan.  We are on the Horde side.

I did play, I've been inactive for about 3 months now.  60 Rogue - Undead, 49 Mage - Undead, various 20 - 30 somethings.

I'll probably start again once the expansion comes out.

The game is wonderful, but be warned that once you hit 60, the game will grind the crap out of you just like every other MMO out there if you want to progress at all.

But, it's a great ride to 60, and even the grind isn't totally unenjoyable; it's something to think about though.

Oh that and Horde for Life.

I actually have someone that is starting up with me, so we are going to go through the game together.  We have a guy that has 5 or 6 alts that are all at level 60 to act as our protector if the need arises.

It looks like I came in at a good time.  The expansion is right around the corner, and it looks like there are alot of people starting up again right now.  It should give me some choices for parties.

Besides all you Horde fuckers can go away.  Aliance bitches.  |D

Sort of off topic here, but I desperatly need to add more RAM to my computer to play WoW.  Can anybody tell me where the best place is to get an upgrade from?  I went to CompUSA, but they wanted $60 for 256 MB which seemed a little high to me.

Anyone?

www.newegg.com is great.

Though if you are unsure of the type/speed of ram you need, http://www.crucial.com/ is a great source.  They will be able to tell you what exactly you need to get in order to match what you currently have, then you can get it for cheap at newegg.

New egg, hmmmm?  Alright I shall check them out.  I have no idea what speed RAM I need or anything else about it right now.  I'm going to check when I get home so hopefully I can be up and running by the weekend.  Thanks everybody!

Don't buy the wrong speed RAM, I did, and although i ended up making 5$ by reselling it on e-bay it wasn't worth the time spent.
