Buying a Wii at Launch???

On my dorm floor, there are four of us that are diehard Nintendo fanatics... as well as many other video games and systems. Right now, me and one of the others will be getting one at launch for sure. There are two others on my floor that got the gamecube at launch, so they could possibly get the wii too.  So we are getting 2 for sure and possibly up to 6 or more.

Now we'll have to converge on games, so we get all the launch titles...

I've seen all kinds of speculation, but the one I like the most is the one that takes the last sentence and twist it into meaning that Nintendo is going to have a Spaceworld this year.

also this one: Wii = WII = VVII when looked at as Roman numerals = 5 + 5 & 1 + 1 = 10 & 2 = 10/2 = October 2nd
Which means Wii will launch on October 2nd.

I would like to buy one eventually, but I'm not sure if I will be buying any of the systems at all.

A part of me is now thinking that the Wii is going to be good for games with only 1 or 2 people but not in a living room with 3 or more players (due to the space needed for everyone to swing their controllers around without smacking someone else).

Just a thought. Anyways, I'm still not buying one at launch.

I would like to think that there will be an option to turn the exaggerate down, but if not perhaps Nintendo is going for the view that this is the ultimate party toy.
