....if the manager at your local game crazy says he'll put any genre of game aside when it comes in used and complete for you when he gets it in for any particular system untill you next come in.

....when same manager offers to drive across town to pick up a few games from another store so you dont have to.

....when you wake up you have to move a stack of games to slap the alarm, then move another stack of games to reach the bathroom sink, then more stacks to reach your closet, and finaly restack the gb games that fell in your shoes.

....when you cant even remember if you like games anymore but feel the compulsion to buy more games.

....if you've ever cancled a date because you needed that money to buy more games.

.....you've ever bought an entire series of games spanning two or more systems and never played a single title from the franchise and it has over 8 games to it.

When you walk into any store in a 10 mile radius of your home the manager/employees tell you that you can either take something now or go in the back to get it.

When your boss specifically scheduals you around clean up days to save space in the dumpsters.

Once you finally get money you spend any leftovers on games. Only to realize you miscalculated and are once again short for your bills.

I liked this one. It is true for me:

That is true for me too.  I'm starting to wonder if I still like playing games.  I just love finding deals on them.

I think you guys might need to start a support group.
That sounds like addiction. paranoid

I got one:

Yeah it does, and I gotta admit I'm also addicted.  I spent much more time on eBay & taking care of incoming packages (i.e cleaning games etc) than I do playing the games.  It's not too bad, though..for me it's almost like two different hobbies.  The games that I play, I do not collect...and the games that I collect, I do not play. .....your family walk into your office while talking to you, stop, look at your collection, and forget what they were saying.
.....the friends you invite wonder if you used to work as a Nintendo guide/councerler because you have so many games.
.....you became staff at an online gaming site just so you could have more involvment in the collections of yourself and others.
.....you know the developer and publisher of every game in your collection but cant remember the name of your 6 month old child.
.....you've ever taken bets (for games) to eat things or do things which would cause marginal phisical harm to yourself.
.....you spent more in one week on games then you spent on your engagment ring.

You hide valuable game's in your sock drawer in hopes it wont be stolen in a robbery.

You have a trade box in your vehicle in hope's someone want's your pac-mans for there atlantis II cart.

You go into a store and they stop you at the door and let you know if they have anything new.

You leave want list's at said store's and they call you if they get something good.

Your called when someone bring's Atari stuff in because they don't accept stuff that old and wonder if you want it.

if video games are concidered 'a way of life'

you reconcider buying a game you said you would never buy because its a part of a series.

you buy games just because you don't have it

if you have to use the dewey decimal system  to locate a game

if your collection has been called a meusem or if you were told you could open
your own video game store.

if you feel your death will be by being buried alive in your collection

if your Video Games/ Systems date back farther than you

Yes! I've been told that. By a manager of a game shop, funnily enough.
