Actually, I have one - why can't I view profiles?  Is it because I am too new a member?

I'm not too sure about that. Simply clicking a name doesn't show you that person's profile?

Can you view and edit your own profile? (probably, seeing you uploaded that avatar)

It says "My apologies, you can't just view any profile"

Welcome Porksta.
That may be a new security measure recently toward newer members to reduce the collecting of email address for SPAM, I'm sure it'll come good eventually.

If your main interest is selling, you may also want to check out Game Gavel

We had some assholes ruin the fun for everyone regarding the profiles who were harvesting email addresses. The restriction to view profiles only exists for Tiger Gizmondo / Guests, which after 10 posts you become an N-Gage where the profile restriction no longer exists. That said, the new version of SMF should eliminate the need for this restriction.

Shame isn't it? Just like with everything, you always have the few that ruin it for the rest.

It sure is.

But it's also a sneaky little way in luring more people into the forum,  Tongue. If they have to post 10 times to get the restriction lifted, they might get hooked and stay active Cheesy

I never did get around to doing this...

I'm Kenny, and I'm a compulsive gamer. I buy too many games, and I'll get into at least a dozen at once before realizing that I'll lose track if I start any more. I'm trying to become a fantasy writer, and I'd love to become a video game designer.

I love board games with lots of components, and I collect dice. I'm also a D&D fan, but my group is pretty much split up across the country right now.

I own the following systems:

Atari 2600
CD-i
Dreamcast
DS
Gameboy
Gameboy Advance
Gamecube with GBA Player
Genesis/CD with Power Base Converter
N64
Neo Geo Pocket Color
NES
PC
Playstation 2
Playstation 2 (JP)
Playstation 3
PSP
Saturn
SNES
TurboGrafx 16/CD
Wii
Xbox
Xbox 360

Hey Kenny! Smiley

Nice intro you wrote there; I wanted to say "welcome" but that's obviously unnecessary. Tongue
