One of the better days to dig for treasures here in
The Netherlands. Queensday is a national day in the
year they celebrate the birthday of the queen.
I dont give a damn...but there are a lot of fleamarkets
and kidsmarket in the city over here...and in the
past I read on some Dutch gaming forums people ussually
find nice (gaming) stuff...

Whats y'all up to these days?

I'm definitely looking forward to that, hopefully find some good deals.  I've also heard from the Dutch collectors that this day is the best for "flea market" finds Wink

I actually wanted to go look for some stuff last year in Amsterdam but just ended up partying instead Wink

awesome. those monster size flea markets are a blast. no telling what will turn up.

I found my Mego 2XL at one last year for $5 bucks. the year before that I picked up a boxed Odyssey 2 with "The Voice".

But don't judge them by their size to much...even little spots are worthwhile to check!
The only thing you need to bring with you is a good pair of eyes!:)

heh heh, I agree with that too. it's all worth checking. I've had finds at church garage sales that had maybe 3 folding tables of stuff.

Yeah, we were earlybirds, so we walked back and forth to three different flea markets for 8 hrs long!! I still feel it in my legs right now Wink

I got some stuff, not as much as I had hoped and no real NES stuff, but at least we found something:

Nintendo 64 console w/hookups (loose) + 1 ctrl. + Duke Nukem (loose) & Wayne Gretzky 3D '98 (loose)
SNES w/hookups (loose) + 2 controllers + On the Ball (complete) + Sim City (complete)
Both for 35 euro.

MegaDrive w/2 controllers (loose, one damaged) + Street Fighter II (loose) + Terminator (loose) + 2 Famicom multicarts loose.....5 euro

ColecoVision (loose) w/ 2 controllers and 8 pretty crappy games....10 euro

Sepctravideo/QuickShot joystick for Atari (complete)...50 cents

VHS Super Mario - Reptielen op de loer (already have this one unfortunately)....1 euro

That should be all I think.  Hopefully the Famicom multis will have some cool games on them Wink
