I'm on my own for a few weeks so when I heard an ad on the radio for pork roast at NZ$6/kilo I thought I'd give it a go. Given that I've never cooked a roast before, I was working on my own, and the only "recipe" I had was the label on the meat saying 1hr/kilo I think I did very well. I didn't manage to get any crackling but I took the skin off and put it under the grill this morning. I had roast potatoes, kumara, pumpkin, broccoli, and carrots.

Bonus points for whoever guesses what the meat is (hint: its not chicken).

Stereotypical gamer fare: Cheetos with Mountain Dew.

Well, actually, the 'Dew is mixed with Coke Zero, but you can read about that elsewhere.

Anyhoo: I got the crunchy "XXtra Flamin' Hot" kind. Which was rather unimpressive.

Then again, I've grown such a tolerance for the hot stuff, that nothing short of Wing Stop's atomic wings registers on the ol' taste buds anymore...

Oh, it burns elsewhere...

...but I really don't wanna get into that.

And, trust me, neither do you.

Andy Capps Hot Fries. A classic and delicious snack. I love spicy snacks.
