Contest forum?

We had a competition/hiscore/speed run forum before.
We tried to run weekly contests.

It got removed by Arrhalomynn because i kicked to much ass.

In anycase if the outcry for the retun of my amazing idea is great enough it could make a comeback

Wow, that sounds awesome.  I wasn't thinking of contests like that but we should have one of them, too.  I was referring to contests that RFgen members create and give out prizes like Digit Press, Atari Age, and the like have.

Yes, I remember when we started up the High Scores Table & I completely sucked! I think we were playing galaga & ms. pac-man (I think that's right). I have no idea how they were scoring so high. lol. It's too bad we didn't play pitfall II, because I would've definitely tied with someone. haha.

Maybe we can set up a big contest sometime this year. It would be nice if we could get everybody to donate a small prize (extra/ trade games they have).

I say we clean up The Arena a bit and bring it back for the world to see.

It would be cool to have a forum for if/when users would want to run contests for everyone else to take part in but how often would people be willing/able to do such a thing?

I think thats why that forum went the way of the Dodo.

Maybe a sticky thread in the gaming forum?
Add a new challenge once a month? That way while the challenge is going on, it goves you planety of time to figure out a new one?

Also, I vote for guitar hero as a challenge Of course I am not even on hard yet (damn Oblivion consuming my time)

I would be fine with bring that forum back. Maybe a biweekly contest. No prize just bragging right. Well I could give out a gold star to the winner.

Last time i had won 3 out of 4 contests.
The only reason i lost contest 4 was because i didn't own the game lol.

I will see what i can do to fix that up a bit now.

This is what I was talking about.  I was thinking about site and registered member run contests.  We just need a forum to post them in.  I was going to do a 500 post contest but no forum to put it in!
