Who else is looking forward to this?

I didn't like Signs all that much, but The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable were both SWEEEET, and this looks equally awesome. The visuals and sets in this remind me a little bit of Sleepy Hollow, and they just have this sense of impending doom.... I love it! I'll definitely see this one in theaters. I'm even more excited about this than Godzilla: Final Wars, and that's saying a lot.

I'm hoping it will be better than Signs, which I thought was boring, the other two were good, so with luck...

I've liked all of his (don't feel like trying to spell his name) movies so far.  Everytime I see a preview for this movie I get giddy.

Cant wait for this movie.  Although, if it is anything like signs, I am going to be quite pissed.

Seen it, I thought it was good, although many I know felt that it wasn't any good.  Definatly see it before anyone tells you what happens, or its game over.

Nobody has told me what happens, but every review I've read said that this was his worst movie yet.  Of course, the same reviewer who gave this a 2/10 gave Harold and Kumar go to White Castle a 6/10, so I'm not taking their opinion too seriously.  I'm still gonna wait till it makes it to the cheapies now though.

I agree with that review. Harold and Kumar wasn't very good but The Village was so bad I was praying a tornado would come through and rip the drive-in screen right out of the ground. Hell, I was praying. Isn't that enough for you to understand how boring that trash was? I also had a pretty good idea what was coming at the end. It was such a give-away that multiple posters on the IMDB message boards predicted it months before the movie's release without reading the script or having any other clues.  I hear it's also a total rip-off of the popular children's book The Giver. I wouldn't know for sure because I don't read anything that doesn't include pictures of beautiful naked women. I remember several teachers recommending it to me in grade school though, and I wondered if it was anything like The Guyver, an entertaining sci-fi film starring Jack Armstrong and Luke Skywalker.

The giver wasnt a bad book, it was mandatory school reading a few years back and i thought it wasnt bad. I would actually suggest that book. Its about a society run completely out of the peoples hands everything is decided for them what kids they get what jobs they get who they marry ect. One person every X amount of years gets the job of being the Reciever. the reciever gets the givers memories of the past. Good and bad from happy christmases to wars.

So i would not compare a shitty movie to it.
