Activision says Harmonix's new game, Rock Band, is a Guitar Hero (developed by Harmonix!) imitator.

Does Activision need to be reminded that Harmonix made Guitar Hero and Rock Band?

Oh, and that Guitar Hero is basically a ripoff of Konami's Guitar Freaks?

Beat medium last night. I had been getting 5 stars all all the songs up until the 7th set. I only got half of those 5 starred the others are 4. I got my first 3 star on "Carry Me Home", what a pain in the ass. On the last set I got a couple 5 stars and the rest are 4 stars.

Oh, and the 7 new songs that were just listed on the front page...why couldn't they pick an Iron Maiden song from the album Pieces of Mind? I love that album, plus The Trooper is on that one.

The Trooper is on the 360 version of GH II. Wrathchild plays on Sirius a lot and it isn't that good IMO. Where is Run to the Hills, Powerslave or Aces High.

I like Wrathchild. it's odd they chose a Paul Di'anno era Maiden song though. Aces High would have been cool. my first choice would have been Wasted Years.

Paul Di'anno is why I don't like the song I think. I know Maiden with Bruce so it sounds really strange. Wasted Years would be nice.

Since there hasn't been a Van Halen song announced yet for "GH: Rock the 80's", I'm secretly rooting for "Hot for Teacher"...that would be fun (and TOUGH) to play. Remember the intro?
